Corrections and data questions

Every town profile is generated from public datasets, and errors can come from those sources or from our processing. If you live in one of the listed towns and something on its profile is wrong — a stale figure, a boundary problem, a miscategorized place — we want to know.

Write to hello@townsteading.example with the town and state, the field in question, and what you believe the correct information to be. Corrections are reviewed against the source datasets before they are applied.

Questions about the project, the methodology, the local Townsteading experiment, or press and collaboration inquiries are welcome at the same address.

Townsteading is an independent research project. It cannot answer questions about specific properties, local ordinances, or whether a particular town is right for you — that research is yours to do, and the methodology page explains how to use this data well.
